Automatic FTP Virus Scanning
Webair’s proprietary VSYS hosting platform now offers automatic malicious file scanning capabilities.
Automatic security screening is performed on a constant basis, automatically scanning uploaded files for malicious signatures. If our system detects one of these signatures it automatically removes the offending code from an HTML or PHP script, disconnects the ftp user, resets the password, and opens a ticket to document the issue.
All files are scanned immediately as you upload them!
As new threats emerge our signature database will evolve proactively. This system will help protect you, your website, and your visitors from viewing unwanted advertisements or downloading harmful content. This feature will be added to all Webair hosting accounts automatically and free of charge. There is nothing that needs to be done on the client side.

Webair Teams up with Hosting for Haiti – Please Help!
Webair has united with other hosting companies to help provide aid for Haiti and you can help!
On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake devastated Haiti. The death toll still rises as they uncover the remains of what was once their beloved city. Approximately 200,000 people have lost their lives and an estimated 1.5 Million are homeless. The people of Haiti continue to struggle with this tragedy and there still remains a critical shortage of essential supplies and aid to assist in the recovery efforts.
Money raised through Hosting for Haiti will provide the American Red Cross the funds to mobilize relief workers, send relief supplies, and provide financial resources essential for recovery.
With our combined generosity we hope to raise enough money and make a difference for the Haitian people. All donations large or small will go directly to support these efforts.

Webair is pleased to announce ONE CLICK WORDPRESS installs in THE WEBAIR PROPRIETARY CONTROL PANEL!
To install Wordpress on your website, please login to the Webair Control Panel, and choose your website from the “Websites” dropdown list. You will then be presented with the option called “Wordpress”. This will Automatically install Wordpress on your domain, or in a directory of your choice!
In addition to the new ONE CLICK WORDPRESS option, we have added other enhancements as well!
You can now control your Domain Name servers (DNS) with the new DNS Manager. Simply choose your domain and then the DNS manager from your control panel to access this feature.
Other additions include Cron Manager, and Alias Manager. To access any of these NEW options, log into the control panel and select the respective link to access your cron or alias manager.
